ミュージアムの２階で企画展として常時開催されている、「【ジブリ公認】となりのトトロのぬいぐるみ展」が大人気となっています。
「となりのトトロ」はスタジオジブリが、１９８４年公開の「風の谷のナウシカ」、１９８６年公開の「天空の城ラピュタ」に続き、１９８８年に公開したアニメーション作品です。
現在でもジブリのアニメファンを中心に、とても根強い人気がある作品です。

正直、ジブリのアニメファンなら絶対訪れるべき、必見の場所と言えるでしょう。
もはや、トトロの世界観に浸るためだけに、那須を訪れる人が居ても不思議ではないと感じるほどの充実度です（本当にスゴイことになっています）。
