Zazenso Habitat

ざぜん草群生地・ざぜん草
This is a habitat of the rare plant “Zazenso.”
These small, charming flowers quietly tell you that spring has come.
The best season is from February to March. It is a short but precious time to feel new life in the forest.

ざぜん草6

They are so small and cute.
It looks as if they are working hard to tell everyone that spring has come.
This rare habitat is named because the flowers look like monks sitting in meditation. The best time to see them is only from February to March, but it is worth the visit.
To me, they look more like little girls with their heads covered than monks in meditation.
They seem to do their best in their tiny bodies, and you will want to cheer for them in your heart.
Many Zazenso are still sleeping under the soil in the forest and have not yet sprouted.
Please stay on the wooden paths so you do not step on them. Let us watch these plants quietly and carefully.

(Kaori’s Highlights)
