え、こんなところに？と思うような住宅地の中にあるラーメン店ですが、地元では有名なお店です。
It’s in the middle of a residential area where you might be surprised to find a ramen shop, but it’s very famous among locals.

実はラーメン通の間では超有名な白河ラーメンの元祖「とら食堂」の分店なのです。
In fact, it is a branch of “Tora Shokudo,” the original Shirakawa ramen shop that is legendary among ramen enthusiasts.

縮れた手打ち麺が何とも言えない歯ざわり。
スープも意外とあっさりしていて、これならいくらでも食べられそう。
The curly handmade noodles have a wonderful chewy texture.
The broth is surprisingly light, making it easy to keep eating until the bowl is empty.

そしてカオリの密かな注目点は、お持ち帰り用のチャーシューが販売されていること。
What quietly caught my attention is that they also sell chashu you can take home.

店舗で食べた美味しいチャーシューを自宅でも楽しめちゃうなんて嬉しい。
２袋分も購入してしまいました。
It’s such a treat to be able to enjoy at home the same delicious chashu you ate at the shop.
I ended up buying two packs to take home.

（カオリの注目ポイント） (Kaori’s Highlights)

暖簾が出ていなくて、しかもラーメンの看板もないので、一般住宅のような雰囲気です。
駐車場に車が停まっていなければ、通り過ぎてしまうところでした。
「本当にここでいいのかしらん？」と思いながら入ると、お店の中にはお客さんがいっぱい。
そのギャップが面白いと思いました。
There’s no shop curtain hanging outside and no big ramen sign, so at first glance it just looks like an ordinary house.
If there hadn’t been cars parked in the lot, I might have driven right past it.
Wondering “Is this really the right place?” I went inside and found it packed with customers.
That contrast between the modest exterior and the lively interior was quite amusing.
