ショートコース1 / Short course 1

Short courses are great because even beginners can take on the challenge easily.
This is the elevated green on the 3rd hole.
Whether you putt from above or below the hole, it’s quite a tricky green.

ショートコース2 / Short course 2

The 4th hole features a valley carry.
You aim for the green across the valley, which you can see through a gap in the trees.
It really feels like the shot won’t reach...

ショートコース3 / Short course 3

This is the tee shot on the 5th hole.
From here, an open and refreshing fairway spreads out before you.

ショートコース4 / Short course 4

The ball just doesn’t fly like it does at the practice range...

On my first time playing this short course, my round was quite a mess.
It’s a 9-hole, par-3 course (par 27 for a half round), but my score for the half round was 91...
Clearly, I still need a lot more practice.

コースレイアウト / Course layout

This is the short course at Nasu Kogen Golf Practice Range.
The holes near the clubhouse feel very much like you’re playing right in the mountains.
But after the valley carry on the 4th hole, the scenery changes and a wide, open fairway stretches out.
As a complete beginner, I started my round early in the morning (around 7 a.m.) so as not to bother other players.

(Kaori’s Highlights)

ショートコース5 / Short course 5

Golf is a sport you can enjoy throughout your life, so I’d like to improve my skills slowly over time.
The driving range next to the short course has spacious bays, making it a nice place to practice leisurely, even with children.
