Today, we will enjoy a short hiking route from Sesshoseki to Daimaru.
First, please go to the tourist information center in Yumoto and get a free hiking map of the course.
If you walk from Sesshoseki through Benten Onsen to Daimaru Garden, you can see many different views in a short time.

Today, we will enjoy a short hiking trip from Sesshoseki to Daimaru.
First, go to the tourist information center in Yumoto and get a free hiking map of the course.

Now it is time to start. The course begins at a branch on the path to Nasu Onsen Shrine, just to the back left of Sesshoseki.

You pass behind several houses and a water treatment plant, and the greenery slowly becomes thicker.
A small stream along the way makes a pleasant, relaxing sound.

After walking for about 100 minutes, you arrive at a place where the view opens up.

If you walk another 10 minutes, you arrive at Daimaru Garden, a souvenir shop.
The soba you eat after the hike tastes very good.
It is a bowl you may remember for a long time.

If you go from Sesshoseki to Daimaru Garden by car, you arrive very quickly, but
if you park near Sesshoseki and walk the same route, you can enjoy a light hike.
Doing something you do not often do in daily life, such as simply walking in nature, gives you new energy.
If you bathe at Benten Onsen on the way and then eat soba at Daimaru Garden,
it may feel as if memories of living close to nature come back to you.
You return from Daimaru Garden to Sesshoseki by bus and your short trip ends, but
because you see many different scenes in a short time, it feels like a longer journey.
This petit hiking course is easy to recommend, and it shows how attractive Nasu is,
with beautiful nature very close to you.
