すぐそこに那須温泉神社があります。
その先の殺生石までちょっと散策しながら歩くのもまた一興。
付近に漂う硫黄臭が昔ながらの温泉街の情緒を感じさせます。

観光案内センターでは、トレッキングマップが入手できるのも嬉しいところ。
プチハイキングコースを楽しむためのマップを手に入れようと思ったら、こちらを訪れるのがオススメです。 Nasu Onsen Shrine is very close.
It is also nice to walk from there to Sessho-seki (the Killing Stone).
The faint smell of sulfur in the area shows that this is a traditional hot spring town.

You can also get trekking maps at the information center.
