で茶臼岳に登りましょう。那須と言えば茶臼岳。皇太子ご夫妻が季節には必ず登山されることでも有名です。ロープウェイが１１１人乗りになったので並ぶことも少なくなりました。但し、駐車場が少ないので注意して下さい。混んでいたら少し下って大丸温泉の駐車場に車を置いて歩いた方が無難でしょう。 Ride up to Mt. Chausu—one of Nasu’s icons. With the larger gondolas, lines are usually shorter, but parking is limited. If it’s crowded, parking near Dairamaru Onsen and walking may be a good option.

を見物しましょう。名勝の殺生石を見物しましょう。殺生石周辺には無数のお地蔵さんがいたりしてちょっと不気味ですが、それぞれのスポットに由来と説明書きがありますからきちんと読みながら進めばより悠久の昔に思いを馳せて歴史深い那須に敬意を払う気持ちが生まれてきます。 Visit the famous Sessho-seki. The area has many stone statues and can feel a little eerie, but each spot has notes on its origin. Reading them as you walk makes the history of Nasu feel even deeper.

で温泉に入りましょう。せっかくここまで来たのですから殺生石の目の前にある鹿の湯で温泉に入っていきましょう。硫黄の匂いが立ち込めている温泉は効能も高く、人気があります。鹿の湯のひなびた雰囲気も温泉を楽しむには抜群です。 Relax in the hot springs at Shika-no-Yu, located right in front of Sessho-seki. The sulfur-scented waters are popular for their strong benefits, and the rustic atmosphere is perfect for an onsen experience.
